I originally purchased 6 of these buckets for a classroom simulation where my students would have to carry water and sand in them. However, I didn't notice how small they were (my mistake for not reading closely enough), and my 15-17 year old students would easily be able to transport them, so I ended up not using them. However, instead of returning them, I've saved them, because I know someday I'll have children, and they'll be absolutely perfect. They would be GREAT for a sandbox or making sand castles, and they are a perfect small size that young children (2-3) can carry them. They were a fantastic value, too, and very cute!
