We live near the beach and visit frequently, and I'm always looking for ways to cut down on how much we are carrying out onto the beach. So I was immediately attracted to the nesting quality of these pails. The pails do completely nest, and so it's nice to have four pails while only feeling like we carried out one. Also with the frequency that we use sand toys plus how often they are packed in and out of the vehicle, I really need sand toys that are very durable. These pails are made of a quality, thick plastic and will take a good beating. These are not those cheap, thin pails that will crack soon after use. The handle on the one pail is also pretty good quality...not the absolute best I've seen but still very good. The mold on the top works well enough. My kids are more interested in creating castle turrets than using the pails for the mold. But for those kids who like the molds, they will work fine. Very happy with the purchase and I'll try the other Melissa and Doug Seaside products as well.
