We had these golf clubs for several months before they broke. That doesn't sound very impressive, but let me tell you - it is for my family!! We've had a lot of trouble finding golf clubs that hold up for more than a few uses, mainly because my highly energetic 4 yr old uses them to play hockey. It's really difficult to whack a large ball or puck hard enough to get it across a lumpy yard without breaking your puny plastic stick, especially if you don't aim so well to begin with. These clubs hold up remarkably better because they're metal sticks wrapped in foam rubber. The driver part is still plastic, but it's very thick (I've seen some where the plastic is so thin it's almost translucent). When our set finally broke, it was because the plastic head separated from the metal stick. I highly recommend these for families who play as rough as we do!
